melon speckled Minecraft Item
Minecraft ItemGlistering Melons are an item crafted from eight gold nuggets and a melon slice (as of snapshot 13w23a), used mainly for imbuing potions with instant health restoration effects. It can replace redstone in the alchemical recipe for a Mundane Potion. Despite being a melon, glistering melons cannot be consumed and only have use in brewing. It may look like a normal watermelon but it is not edible. Glistering Melons can be put into the Brewing Stand to make Healing Potions.

- The glistering melon slices face right, unlike the edible melon slices, which face left.
