Week 9 Summer Code-A-Thon Challenge: Who’s Your Hero?
It’s Week 9 of the Summer Code-A-Thon! This week we ask kids to create a project in response to a question: who’s your hero? Kids can define “hero” however they’d like – it could be anyone from a character in a favorite book, to a family member, to a classic superhero.
They’ll begin with a blank template, and code a scene or game to show us who their hero is and why! Any project can be submitted to the Summer Code-A-Thon, but extra points will be given for those that stick to the theme.
The Summer Code-A-Thon is free and open to all. With a free parent-verified account, kids are eligible to win prizes. Please share this program with anyone who might be looking for ways to keep their kids engaged over the summer!
