Community Highlights: March 4th-March 8th
It’s been another exciting week in the Tynker community! Kids are making all kinds of creative projects, and teachers and students are coming together to use coding to strengthen critical thinking skills and demonstrate content knowledge. Your favorite multiplayer battle game, Crystal Clash, has new features like Duo Mode, Questbook, Friends and Character Customization; Tynker Blue Ribbon Educator Lisa Sato uses coding for Project-Based Learning; and our Featured Maker, Ximena, gets inspiration from holidays for her projects! We also celebrated International Women’s Day last week with a special tribute blog to seven inspiring Women in STEM. Check out this week’s Community Highlights below!

Heros of Pandopolis! By Pandadood
Choose your character and do battle with your opposition using the “attack” and “block” buttons!
Escape the Kitchen! by Chem Cat
Make your way through the kitchen, but be sure to dodge the rotating kitchen knives!
Awesome Board Game! by 14nairr
Click the die in the middle to determine how many spaces you move your piece! First one to the finish line wins!
Move the objects in the way, using the cannon to launch the ball at them. Then aim and vanquish all the monsters in the map!

Spend your coins wisely in the beginning so you can build your defense accordingly. Make sure that nothing makes it to the other side of your defense!

Happy International Women’s Day on March 8th! We celebrated by honoring seven inspiring women in STEM with a special blog post! Women helped put humankind on the moon, develop programming languages, found startups, and more–what will the girls and women in your life achieve?
