Community Highlights: March 12 – March 18
Every week, we bring you the best and brightest of the Tynker community! Our users were busy creating everything from a bird attack game to a Hawaiian dance party this week. Check out our Twitter highlights for a look at how students are learning to code through our courses and using Tynker for interesting class projects!
Projects of the Week
Nolan’s best known project is Dab Clicker, but he also dreamed up the Stick Quest World series! Make sure you check out Stick Quest World 1 and Stick Quest World 2, as well.

On the Blog
Our Featured Makers this week were Helen and James. Both of them want to be astronauts! Helen is only eight but has been coding for three years, and James studies outer space in his free time. We have some pretty impressive users!
We featured educator Christine Whitmire, who said, “Tynker also gives everyone the opportunity to be creative, be heard, and be recognized,” and shared a post about our booth at the Spring 2018 CUE conference. We also celebrated the fun holidays this week with a Pi Day project and a cool St. Patrick’s Day coding game!
In the News
We saw a couple great articles in the news this week about how kids are using Tynker! The Sahuarita Sun cited Tynker as a great way to use tech to help kids learn, and TribLIVE.com shared how Newlonsburg Elementary 4th graders are using Tynker in their technology class.
