Community Highlights: January 20 – January 26

It’s Monday, which means we get to share the best of the Tynker community with you! This week we saw some really creative projects, with lots of animal-related games. We also saw lots of fantastic tweets – kids (and teachers!) are having a great time coding with Tynker. Have fun playing through these awesome games, and don’t forget to tweet us about your classroom’s coding sessions!

Looks like this school had an engineering competition with Tynker and Parrot drones!

It’s always great to see teachers working with students to perfect their code and deepen their understanding of computer science.

These kindergartners are adorable. It seems like they’re enjoying coding!

On the Blog:

We published this article recapping all the cool new features we added to Tynker last year. This article went live for FETC, and includes info about all the Tynker-related sessions at FETC. We also posted this article about our seasonal project, Groggy Groundhog. Try it out!

Our Featured Maker this week was Ysabella. She’s an enthusiastic, smart maker whose teacher said of her, “She’s not afraid to fail – but she doesn’t fail often.”

Keep contributing to the Tynker community! Parents and teachers can connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the Tynker Community Forum. Kids can start learning to code and creating for free with the Tynker app for iPads or by playing our Hour of Code activities!
