Community Highlights: September 26 – October 2
Happy Monday!
Here are some of the best things happening in the Tynker community this past week. To join in on the fun, download the Tynker app for your iPad or Android tablet and start coding!
Projects of the Week
“Star Scramble” is a game where you need to avoid the red balls and get stars. There are six different power-ups, so keep playing to see more!
“Waffles the cat” is a cute animation made in Tynker about a cat named Waffles (who wears a waffle on his head) going about his daily routine.
Note: This project is not fully supported on web, so we recommend looking at it through the app.
“ITS RAINING TACOS” is an animation about a taco-making robot who dumps tacos on people’s heads.
Tynker in the News
Tynker’s drone package was listed on a roundup of tech tools for the back-to-school season by SoCal City Kids, a parenting blog.
Daniel Rezac, a STEM Coordinator in Chicago, wrote a great article about his experiences using Tynker with his students called “We’re Going to Mars, and We’re Going to Need Programmers to Get There.”
