Community Highlights: March 6 – 12

Here’s what’s new in the Tynker community this past week:

Featured Makers

We featured three more kid makers on the Tynker blog this week: Anthony from Chicago, Joshua from Vancouver, and Diego from San Jose. Here are a few quotes from them and their parents:

Do you think other kids should try coding? I think every kid in the world should code! It’s so fun, and it gets your brain thinking. Why not have no school and just code all day? – Anthony

Tynker is not just coding – it’s creative thinking, it’s problem solving, and it’s thinking things through, so there’s a lot of great benefits. – Diego’s father Owen

What’s your favorite feature in Tynker? I like the puzzles! They show how to get started. I completed a few of the puzzles – Dragon Journey and Candy Quest and Lost in Space. My favorite one was Dragon Journey. – Joshua

Projects of the Week

Neon Dodging Game: You control the red circle. Your goal is to get the blue circle to eat dots. When you’re close to the blue circle, it will follow you – but make sure not to let the blue dot touch you!
