Community Highlights: November 7 – 13

Here are a few highlights from the Tynker community this past week. You can join in on the coding fun by downloading the free Tynker app for iPads and Android tablets.

Projects of the Week

MOUNTAIN CLIMBER: This fun game was made by Julian, a 4th grader from San Francisco who has made some of our all-time best projects.

Character Creator: In this project, you can design your own character.

Tynker Logo: Kid are making fan art about Tynker! The animation doesn’t show up fully on web (if you view it through the app, it slowly spells out “Coding for Kids” underneath), but it’s still really cute.

Home of Da Narwhal: We love this sweet ocean animation with several fish and a narwhal swimming around.

Tynker in the News

Fatherly, a parenting blog, wrote a great article recommending Tynker’s Code This Drone kit.

Carley Knobloch, contributor for CNN, HGTV, and the Today Show, featured Tynker’s Code This Drone kit in an article on her blog called “7 STEM Toys that Will Get Your Kids Coding.”

If you have an iPhone, download our awesome Tynker Tube app (if you haven’t already) so that you can check the Tynker community whenever you’re waiting in line or stuck on public transportation. You’ll love playing all the games that kids have created.

Have a great week!
