Community Highlights: January 23 – 29
This week, we went to FETC in Orlando and BETT in London. We met some amazing teachers, many of whom were already using Tynker to teach coding! It was so exciting to talk to them about what’s new at Tynker and how they’re using Tynker in their classrooms. Here are a few highlights from the Tynker community this past week:
Projects of the Week
Escape the room: This delightful project was made by featured maker Layla. You need to explore the room to find all the clues and escape!
3d no actor cube: Check out this very cool 3D simulator! It uses just a single actor to create the feeling that you’re stretching a 3D cube around the screen.
Tynker in the News
The BBC published an article called “Robots and drones take over classrooms” that featured intrepid Tynker teacher Josie McKay from Indiana, who uses the Tynker app and a Parrot drone to run a coding club for her students.
