Happy almost-Thanksgiving! Here are a few highlights from the Tynker community this past week. You can join in on the coding fun by downloading the free Tynker app for iPads and Android tablets.
Projects of the Week
Things Taken Literally: This project interprets colloquial expressions literally–with hilarious results. You won’t want to miss this one.
Roman Years: Ana, an 11-year-old from Spain who has previously been featured on the Tynker blog along with her two brothers, created this project that converts a number into its Roman numeral equivalent.
Kill ’em with kindness: In this storytelling project, a student explores how to deal with situations where people treat you unkindly.
Tynker in the News
App Developer Magazine wrote an article recommending Tynker and Parrot’s “Code This Drone” kit.
Tynker’s “Code This Drone” kit was also featured in a French magazine in an article predicting the gift trends for this holiday season.
Digital Care wrote an article called “Making Minecraft Safe for Kids” and recommended Tynker’s modding courses as a good way to learn coding through Minecraft.
