Community Highlights: October 10 – 16
There’s been a lot going on this past week in Tynker’s Maker Community!
Projects of the Week
Emoji Meme Maker: This project lets you design your own emoji! Choose eyes, a mouth, and more.
quiz projekt: This project was submitted by a student in a Tynker classroom in Sweden. It’s an English quiz for English language learners. We were so impressed by the detailed drawings.
3D Wire Frame Test: This project is made by stradyvarious, a Tynker superstar who has made at least ten incredible featured games. This project uses math formulas to create a rotating shape.
Tynker in the News
Tynker CTO Srini Mandyam was interviewed for a super interesting piece in US News about whether coding should be considered a language and should be allowed to replace foreign language classes in school. What do you think? Should schools replace foreign languages with the option to learn to code?
