Ana, Future NASA Robot Engineer, Loves Coding with Tynker

Ana is an 11-year-old from Zaragoza, Spain who loves to code with Tynker. We interviewed Ana and her two brothers Jorge and Antonino about the awesome projects they’ve coded in Tynker.

What are your hobbies? I like doing sports and playing with family and friends.

What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a NASA robot engineer

How did you get introduced to coding? Thanks to my daddy. He showed me Tynker.

What’s your favorite feature in Tynker? Playing a game called “My Pet Tuna.” My favorite feature in Tynker is the iPad, making your own games, and making mods for Minecraft.

What is your favorite thing you’ve made? A game called “The Chasing.”

Why do you like to code? Because it’s cool and you can learn a lot.

What advice would you give for kids starting out with Tynker? Start by making easy games.

Ana’s father Antonino is incredibly proud of his three children being featured for their coding on Tynker. He says he thinks coding will be valuable to them in the future: “Either they are engineers, doctors, or whatever they be, it will be very important knowledge. That’s good that they started playing with coding.”
