Community Highlights: June 5 – 11
Happy Monday! Every week, we bring you the best of the Tynker community – from projects that we love playing to makers who inspire us.
Featured Makers
We featured one more young maker on the Tynker blog: Grace, a nine-year-old from Scotland. Grace wants to be either a doctor or a coder when she grows up, and she has a great attitude about the Tynker Community:
“I like to code because it’s really fun to make your own game and decide what will happen in it. It inspires me if someone has a better game than me because it means I can look at it and see what they’ve done and if I can do anything different with my game.”
Projects of the Week
STRANGE CONTROL: Another fantastic game from Featured Maker Julian, a 4th grader from San Francisco. Make sure you don’t miss this one!
Missile Command: This is an excellent planet defense game that is superbly executed. It’s really fun to play!

Please join the Tynker community! Parents and teachers can connect with us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and the Tynker Community Forum. Kids can start learning to code and creating for free with the Tynker app for iPads or by playing our Hour of Code activities.
