For Today's Kids, Coding has a Lifelong Impact

The ability to code is a valuable skill that children can apply to their schoolwork and potentially their career. Anyone can develop the skills to become a proficient coder, starting with children in the K-12 setting.

In the 21st century, many of our day-to-day interactions require coding. The devices and programs we use are expertly crafted by skilled software developers, whose median annual wage in May 2021 was $120,730, making it a lucrative career.

The organization has inspired tech companies to create free coding tutorials while compiling available resources for parents, including local schools that teach coding.
